December 4th, 2001:

For those of us who like really well-built timepieces, you may not
be aware of a company called Glycine. They have been making
high quality timepieces for pilots for years.

There is now a U.S. Company that sells both the Glycine, and
Falcon brand of 24-hour watches.. click the photo to visit their
webpage.

Also, ask for Warner if you call them:

May 27th, 2001:

This week, I obtained a new GPS receiver. It's a Garmin GPSIII+,  From
FreshTracks Maps. I'm amazed to find a small, hand-held unit that will run
for 37 hours on a set of four, "AA" batteries. With it is also the new TOPO! CD-Rom set that covers the entire State of California, and is designed to be cabled up with a variety of GPS receivers. I must urge anyone looking for GPS or mapping-related items to visit the FreshTracksMaps site first.

They even have better pricing than places like Brigade Quartermasters! Brigade Quartermasters is also a favorite site to purchase outdoors equipment, flashlights, parachute cord (great for use with field-deployed radio antennas. I had trouble getting into the Brigade Quartermasters online site, but their URL is correct ... guess the internet is just jammed up for a while..
